My Virtualmin Pro instances reliably create backup directories over SSH. The backup destination is /home/srvbackup/hostname/%Y-%m-%d
.
Creating the very same config in Virtualmin 3.85.gpl on Ubuntu 10.04.2 LTS won't create the backup destination as a directory but instead as a file, with every subsequent domain eventually overwriting the previous backup. So, after storing 6 domain backups, my backup space ends up with:
root@backuphost:/home/srvbackup/hostname# ls -l
total 8
-rw-r--r-- 1 srvbackup srvbackup 1721 2011-06-02 12:31 2011-06-02
-rw-r--r-- 1 srvbackup srvbackup 128 2011-06-02 12:31 2011-06-02.info
Is this a known limitation of the GPL version, or a bug? If it'd be a limitation, it'd be better to clearly say so in the scheduled backups editor.
Kind regards,
Christian

Same issue, you're right. Funny though, it doesn't affect the Pro version. or does it?
Mmm, I initially thought it was both, but it's possible it's just the GPL version.
Is it possible your Pro install is still at 3.84, or is your Pro install running 3.85 as well?

The Pro site is on 3.85 as well.
