proFTPD status not sync with Virtualmin

I can't get ProFTPD to start on CentOS 5.6 from virtualmin. ProFTPD is always showing as not running In virtualmin even though the program is running and i can connect through FTP.

In fact giving the command "service --status-all" from SSH I get "proftpd (pid 9676) is running..."

It appears that Virtualmin is not sync with proFTPD. Of course i tried to stop and restart proFTPD many times but i couldn't solve the problem. Any Idea how to get this fixed.

In case you are still having this problem, I figured it out. Make sure the path to the PID is correct. It's starting the service, but Webmin doesn't see that it has started because it doesn't see the PID.
