I've set up a VPS and installed Virtualmin instead of cPanel. I am trying to install Interspire Email Marketer (IEM) on it and am having some problems with a couple things.
1st I'm not 100% sure how to set up a mySQL database on Virtualmin. I've done it on cPanel many times but not sure how to do it here. Could someone point me in the right direction?
2nd On cPanel there was a CRON tab I used to automated scheduled weekly mailings to my subscribers. I don't see a CRON option on Virtualmin. Am I just missing it or is there a way to set this up?
Sorry for being such a complete idiot but I guess we all have to start somewhere. Thanks in advance to anyone who may be able to help.
The left-hand menu of Virtualmin has a command "Edit Databases", provided you enabled that feature for the domain in question (under "Edit Virtual Server").
Cron jobs are managed in the Webmin section, under "System / Scheduled Cron Jobs". Virtualmin does not have an own Cron section, since those things are rather system-wide, and thus fall into Webmin's domain. :)
(Actually Virtualmin is "just" a Webmin module, yet a rather gigantic one.)
