Are sub-domains included in the licensing for virtualmin?

Howdy,

Sub-domains do count towards the number of domains running on your server.

Think of it as -- if you buy a Virtualmin 10 license, that you can run 10 unique sites... whether they're domains or sub-domains.

What doesn't count towards the limit are aliases -- as they aren't unique sites.

That helps. Is there any way I can get a trial before I buy virtualmin? I've been using GPL for 3 years now, and I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth it for me to upgrade to pro.

Unfortunately, there isn't a trial version of Virtualmin.

However, you do have two options --

First, you could always try out the demo here on the Virtualmin site. To access it, you can click the "Demo" button at the top of the page.

Second, Virtualmin Pro comes with a 45 day money back guarantee. If you buy it, and decide it doesn't do what you want -- no problem, just file a support request and you'll get your money back.
