Hi all,
My senario:
I have 3 servers: ns1 - master, running Virtualmin ns2 - slave, running Virtualmin webserver - running Virtualmin
The NS1 and NS2 are working perfectly, syncing and all 100%
What I would like to know is, is there a way that I can have the 'default' options saved when creating a Virtual Server on NS1?
What I would like to achieve is that it only creates the DNS entries on NS1 which then replicates the slave zone to NS2 (the replication's working). I would then like that DNS to point all records to 'Webserver'.
I have looked through the server's control panel and can't seem to find anything :/
Some guidance would be amazing!
Thank you,
Christopher

Howdy,
Well, I'm not entirely certain I follow what you're after... however, to modify the DNS records that are created, you can look in System Settings -> Server Templates -> Default -> BIND DNS Domain.
From there, if you want to completely revamp what records are being created, you can just put the records you want in "BIND DNS records for new domains". One of the options you may want to set is the "Use only the records above" option, which prevents Virtualmin from adding any other records.
Does that accomplish what you're after?
