Is there a centos 5 or centos 5.5 installation guide on how to set up virtualmin without LDAP needing to be setup like my other guide? I just need the walk through, so atleast i get to the point where the virtualmin script says " Your Server is ready to be used my Virtualmin" or similiar results.
Howdy,
It is a bit of work to get LDAP up and running! However, there is a document that should help you get it up and running -- you can view it here:
http://www.virtualmin.com/documentation/id,combining_virtualmin_and_ldap/
I wanted without LDAP. Thanks anyways, thats not what im looking for.
i already tried this, with LDAP and im only missing one variable and no one knows how to fix it.
Oops, sorry, I misread your initial post, I thought you said "with LDAP" :-)
Getting things up and running should be fairly straight forward when using the automated installation script. There's a document on how to use that here:
https://www.virtualmin.com/documentation/installation/automated
im looking a guide to set it up, not install it. i install it flawlessly, but setting it up is a bit of a hassle.
Edit: Thanks anyways. ill go try to play with the config a little more.
