Hi Guys,
I have a server running Ubuntu 8.04 LTS and am considering upgrading it to 10.04 but am reluctant. I don't have the luxury of something going bad. It is an extremely important server for me, and I can't have it down for a long time. Not to mention that all hell will break loose if I loose some of the settings/data.
Has anyone tried to upgrade from 8.04 to 10.04 with Virtualmin installed? Any problems, issues, hiccups, or anything that makes the upgrade not quite smooth?
Howdy,
Hopefully some folks have tales of good experiences to share... however, to assist you on your way, Joe wrote up a document describing how you can go about upgrading from 8.04 to 10.04:

I have a live ubuntu 10 that's working beautifully. My main issue has been in php.ini file because PHP 5.3 forces PHPSESSID into cookies, causing some incompatibilities. I wrote a post about it.
