relocating to new server

I have a new server co_located. what is the best way to move Virtual Servers?

what do i need to do to the Virtualmin license key.

i have 17 Virtual Server

active sys Operating system CentOS Linux 5.5 Webmin version 1.510 Virtualmin version 3.79 Pro

Hi John,

My suggestion would be to install Virtualmin on your new server using the install.sh script.

Then, generate a series of backups for your Virtual Servers on your existing box, copy them to your new server, then perform a restore.

At that point, you should be set!

Yup! The Virtualmin license allows for usage like you're looking for -- running two servers simultaneously for the purpose of migrations.

That's no problem, go ahead and install your copy of Virtualmin Pro on the other server.
