Hi,
Currently have virtualmin running on a VPS server using centos5.3 , i have clamav running on the server and has worked fine until recently. I am now getting dail email warnings with the following:
ERROR: getpatch: Can't download daily-10781.cdiff from database.clamav.net ERROR: Can't download daily.cvd from database.clamav.net
I also can't seem to manually upgrade via the command line using YUM. Its says No Packages marked for Update
Has anyone else had this issue anyway to resolve?
What version of ClamAV are you using?
You can determine that by running this command:
rpm -qa | grep -i clam
Here's the info you requested. It appears as though many people are having this same issue with "older" versions of Virtualmin Professional. After trying to do a "yum update clam*", the system returns saying that no new versions were available.
clamav-filesystem-0.93.3-1.vm.el5 clamav-server-0.93.3-1.vm.el5 clamav-server-sysv-0.93.3-1.vm.el5 clamav-data-0.93.3-1.vm.el5 clamav-0.93.3-1.vm.el5 clamav-update-0.93.3-1.vm.el5 clamav-lib-0.93.3-1.vm.el5
Oh, and I'm running CentOS 5.4.
It has been more than 2 weeks now since the good folks at ClamAV finally closed the doors on support the ancient 0.92 release. When will VirtualMin update its repository with a supported version again? I am having customer having to turn off clamav filtering altogether and it is making them very unhappy!
Please advise!
