Fireall router dropping packets from VM

I just upgraded the firmware on my Linksys BEFSX41 to version 1.52.16 and I can no longer connect to VM with the firewall enabled. Each time I try to connect, I get something like this in the log:

47728/TCP from x.y.z.a:10000 to 192.168.1.101:47728 Invalid TCP packet received, dropping packet

Any ideas?

Thanks, Chris

Hrm, I have no idea why it would block those packets :-)

Other connections to your server work fine, it's just those going to Virtualmin on port 10000?

One option would be to create an explicit allow rule, that says to accept packets from x.y.z.a on port 10000.

Thanks for the quick response!

Yes, all other connections work fine, https, http, etc. and I am able to connect to VM from outside the LAN.

Unfortunately, I don't see any way to edit firewall rules in the router's control panel -- the firewall is either on or off. And I fully realize that this is not a Linksys forum -- I was mainly checking to see if anyone else has had problems with "invalid TCP packets" coming from VM.

Thanks!
