Where can you alter the maximum number of concurrent smtp connections when logging in to check for waiting mail..?
The current default appears to be 10 as 10 connect straight away while the rest are queued and then connected as the other ones complete.
Many thanks

It sounds like what you're interested is the Postfix "smtpd_client_connection_count_limit" param:
http://www.postfix.org/postconf.5.html#smtpd_client_connection_count_limit
You can set that up in /etc/postfix/main.cf.
There's probably also a place to set the same parameter in the Virtualmin GUI, in Webmin -> Servers -> Postfix, but I'm not immediately seeing it :-)

Thanks Eric
Sounds like I was looking in the right place... but I couldn't find it there either...
All the best
