Subdomain DNS using local IP

Given: Domain with DNS configured with external IP address

Problem: When creating a subdomain, the DNS records are created using the INTERNAL IP addess, instead of the same EXTERNAL IP address of the parent domain.

I can't seem to find anywhere from which it would be pulling the internal IP.

You can set all that up by going into System Settings -> Module Config -> Network Settings.

You'd want to tweak "Default IP address for DNS records".
