hi,
i have installed webmin and virtaulmin on my machine; OS = suse 10.0 kernel = 2.6.13-15.8-smp
and i have followed the instructions as listed here; http://www.swelltech.com/support/virtual-servers/index.html
which work fine, but no quotas (i am not bothered);
The status of your system is being checked to ensure that all enabled features are available, that the mail server is properly configurated, and that quotas are active ..
Mail server Postfix is installed and configured.
Apache is installed.
Webalizer is installed.
MySQL is installed and running.
Logrotate is installed.
Using network interface ath0 for virtual IPs.
Quotas are not enabled on the filesystem /home which contains home directories under /home and email files under /home/mail. Quota editing has been disabled.
.. your system is ready for use by Virtualmin.
my problem is about creating new virtual servers.
when trying ot create them i get the following message:
Creating home directory .. .. done
Creating Unix group jegue .. Failed to create Unix group!
and everything stops, but the folder in the home folder is created and when looking on /etc/group, i find that this user has been created;
jegue::1000:
any suggestions to fix this problem will be most welcome as i can not user virtualmin at the moment.
thanks in advance,
Nicolas
