Mod_Rewrite problem

Hey all, i am trying to allow one of my virtual hosts a mod_rewrite option but when i try to use the mod-rewrite on the site hoster by the virtual host it gives the internal error!

could some one please let me know how to enable mod-rewrite for all virtual hosts!

What have you tried?

What is the actual error in the error_log? (Client errors provide no useful information about the problem.)
