I there! Just tried installing the "thejax" theme for virtualmin just for fun, but realized it must be some old version... It does work badly in Firefox 3, and it basically does not work at all in IE7 nor IE8. Is there any news on this, does this still get developed, or has it been abandoned?
Howdy,
I can't for the life of me find the message now, but I'm pretty sure I just read that this particular theme is no longer under development -- but that the things that made it awesome are being integrated (a few pieces at a time) into the current theme.

oh, ok!
looking forward to see the changes coming in then ;)
Eric's right on this one. The assumptions that ExtJS makes on the underlying application simply do not fit with the way the UI works in Webmin/Virtualmin/Usermin. I ran into some major stumbling blocks with several UI functions that just weren't resolvable short of rewriting huge portions of Webmin. On the other hand, I've found that jQuery is much more friendly to applying JavaScript to existing markup--this provides quite a few other benefits, not the least of which is that it allows Webmin to remain usable in screen readers and with other assistive technologies...which is near impossible with an ExtJS UI.
