EC2 Pro AMI - mailman error

Hi, I can't seem to find anything on this...

I'm trying to setup an EC2 Pro image and I'm at a lost. I've fired up the virtualmin web ui and am trying to create a new virtual server, but it asks me to create a default mailman list first.

So I try to create one and it returns with an error:

Illegal list name: mailman@domU-00-00-00-00-00-00

(I edited the domU part)

Also... can someone tell me how can I change the license information on that image? I've got a activation key when I subscribed to the service but I look at the license information and it lists Amazon EC2.

I also want to know how I can access premium support.

Sorry for being total noob. I have exhausted the documentations and forum search.

Kind regards, Ronald

You need to set your system hostname to something fully qualified (you need this for more than just mailman...any kind of mail service is going to have to have a FQDN...DNS can also get tricky if you don't know what you're doing and you don't have a FQDN).

The EC2 licensing is handled differently. You don't need to alter the license information (I don't think...Jamie handles all of the EC2 stuff). If it gives you any license warnings, file a ticket, and Jamie will help you work it out. But, I don't think it will complain.

File a ticket in the Bugs and Issues tracker.

Thanks for the pointer. I was going to follow the instructions on the documentation to setup /etc/hostname and /etc/hosts but I came to this URL: http://developer.amazonwebservices.com/connect/entry.jspa?externalID=767 and found the 5th post has a easier solution. Hope this will help others looking on the official site. :)
