Doing a routine shell apt-get update in a Ubuntu 6.06 LTS Server I get the following:
Err http://software.virtualmin.com virtualmin-dapper Release.gpg Bad header line
.... ... .... .... ... ....
Fetched 3B in 1s (2B/s)
Failed to fetch http://XXXXXX.XXXXXX@software.virtualmin.com/ubuntu/dists/virtualmin-dap... Bad header line
Reading package lists... Done
E: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
Any change in the repositories I should do?
I'm getting the same thing on a fresh "install.sh" script in Ubuntu 8.04 GPL:
---------------------------------
W: Failed to fetch http://software.virtualmin.com/gpl/ubuntu/dists/virtualmin-hardy/Release... Bad header line
W: Failed to fetch http://software.virtualmin.com/gpl/ubuntu/dists/virtualmin-hardy/main/bi... Bad header line
E: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
INFO - Err
OK, I think this has been fixed. I was never able to reproduce it on my Debian systems, but Jamie tracked down similar errors on the web, and was able to straighten it out for a user in the bug tracker (I think). So, give it another try and let us know what happens.
