MTL exploit attempts in log

Every now an then I get a rash of idiots trying to do the Monster Top List /sources/functions.php exploit on files on my server. I don't run MTL, I don't have register_globals on and they don't get in. I am just sick of seeing their attempts in my logs.

Any recommendations on what I can do other than just ignoring the log entries?

Well, you might have a bit of an uphill battle in trying to keep all the bots wandering the Net from getting anything into your logs.

That said, you could always use Virtualmin's Aliases and Redirects (in Services -> Configure Website) to look for certain URL patterns and redirect them to somewhere else.

It's also possible to do some neat things with Apache's mod_security, but that's starting to get a bit out of the scope of Virtualmin ;-)
