We just registered some domains for our organization's branch in Puerto Rico and I went to configure a new virtual server for them. When I entered the new domain (nnnnn.org.pr) I was greeted with the following error instead of a successful setup.
Failed to create virtual server : Missing or invalid domain name
I've got plenty of other domains on this machine configured in Virtualmin and working fine so I doubt it's a local problem. This is on Vrtualmin 3.49.gpl installed inside of Webmin 1.380. Any ideas? I've done a little searching but haven't stumbled on to anything yet.
Thanks for creating such a great product! It makes administration and backup of our virtual domains stunningly easy!
Well, scratch that. Now it's working just fine. Maybe I accidentally copied a non printable character into the domain name field?
yeah, i had the same problem when i tried copying and pasting a domain. i just typed it in and that worked fine.
maybe some weird whitespace character gets copied and vm doesn't like it?
