Updaterd to CentOS 4.5 and now MySQL won't start

Updaterd to CentOS 4.5 and now MySQL won't start

My CentOS 4.4 updated to 4.5 and now the MySQL won't start. When I hit the button I get a timeout error. THe files are all in the same place that the config has them, what did I miss in the update??

I've reinstalled the mysql-server and still get a timeout running /etc/rc.d/init.d/mysqld start

I did note that the VMPro version is calling itself 3.47(Pro)
