Looking for new clients

Do you need help setting up websites, CMC's or general website migration work? Also excellent at BIND, Postfix and Sendmail issues.

Have used VM and Webmin for over 7 years.

Have 20+ years on linux. OS's I support are:

  • RHEL 6+
  • CentOS 6+ *NOT* Fedora Core
  • Debian 7.0 Wheezy or higher

First time clients must make a prepayment of $70 that gets you 3 hours of work credit with me plus 1 hour for free, a $40 value.

Order at https://www.borgnet.net/clients/cart.php?gid=12

Please don't ask for free help. I have worked hard for the knowledge I know, this also includes any emails that fish for free help.

Also looking for more server support contracts. Linux servers only please. Order at https://www.borgnet.net/clients/cart.php?gid=7

Have references upon request. You can email me directly at sgrayban[[at]]gmail.com

If you brought a Virtualmin Pro license you can still renew it but new sales will not be honoured. Credit Cards accepted, sorry but no PayPal.

Please note !! I will not work on any Fedora Core servers. FC is beta code.

Normal business hours for me are 9am - 5pm Mon-Fri PST (GMT -7). After hours depends on my required free time to relax.

If anyone gets a job request from Scott Terry beware -- he does not pay his bill.

He still owes me money for me fixing his sendmail server and ignores emails after you have done the work.

Just wanted to express my appreciation for the work that Scott has done for me. We've been migrating a VHCS based server to Virtualmin and he did a great job in customizing Virtualmin server templates and setting up all other services on my new server as well as writing a couple of perl scripts to batch fix some of the incompatibilities of VHCS and Virtualmin.

I can really recommend Scott to anybody looking for an experienced Linux admin. His responsiveness and expertise are outstanding!

Cheers, Nick

Scott passed along a great deal of knowledge and insight to me as he worked on install VM Pro on my system. I'm new to Linux and Scott was very good at explaining how I need the box setup and what was going on with the VP install.

Scott is a real capacity in server administration!

I had a friends ex-colleague setup my server and mail server.
This guy totally messed up my new root server.

I was in big troubles with my emails and the server. My clients started to get really unhappy.

Scott fixed all of my problems and even optimized my root sever.

If I go to expand and get an other server, he will be my first choice for setting up my systems.

He responds really fast and is focused when working for you.

Thank you for all the good work!

With sunny regards

Scott is a total Pro. We got in touch with him to help us set up VirtualMin server, but in the process, we realized that having a guy like him around is really valuable to our business. He even found a mistake in our current server config. So we actually canceled our old hosting company, which was a large corporate type thing with horrible customer service, and got two dedicated servers with Scott. He ordered the parts, got em put together, and up and running in days. He even sent us pics of the insides so we know the guts were solid.

Now that we have Scott on retainer and doing our hosting, I know that any problems with our server will be handled by a competent person who I can actually get in touch with when I need to!!

Hi,

I currnetly have three servers. One running ubuntu 14.04 and two running debian 7.

Out of intrest how much would it be to have the ubuntu server setup wtih virtualmin as the main server. The debian servers setup as slave DNS servers using webmin?

Regards

Are there domains on the 2 debian servers that needs to be moved?

If the work was contracted to you, I would provide you the servers on a fresh install. No domains should be on the two Debian servers, they should be used purly as slave DNS server (I assume this would be done by adding them as slave DNS clusters)
