A few problems after upgrade to v3.43 gpl

Hi. After upgrading my virtualmin module to v3.43 gpl i got a few problems: 1. the default bandwidth limit in default server template does no longer applies when creating new server, although it is properly set; it's been working flawlessly till now.

 1. on the first page (the information page) quotas are no longer displayed (not for admin user, nor for regular users) even though quotas are selected to be displayed. Bandwidth info is still displayed.

 2. Related to 2, after reboot, virtualmin keep forgetting that my users' partition is quota enabled.

Any suggestions? :)

Post edited by: Lucian, at: 2007/07/03 10:20

Well, nevermind. After a few re-editings of the templates and "save" clicks all came back to normal. It's odd tho'.

Have a nice day!

I also had one hiccup, which may be a bug in the new features:

I tested changing the home directory from /srv/www/htdocs/domainname to
/srv/www/htdocs/domainname.fr (yes this is a French specfic domain.)

Virtualmin left spaces in the /etc/apache2/vhosts.d/domainname.fr.conf file which caused apache to fail on reload

example:

DocumentRoot /srv/www/htdocs/vhosts/domainname.fr /public_html
ErrorLog "|/etc/webmin/virtual-server/writelogs.pl 118172543613614 /srv/www/htdocs/vhosts/domainname.fr /logs/error_log"
CustomLog "|/etc/webmin/virtual-server/writelogs.pl 118172543613614 /srv/www/htdocs/vhosts/domainame.fr /logs/access_log" common

I needed to edit this command line and then restart apache

I'll test this with normal .com .org addresses later.

Are you sure you didn't introduce a space into your Server Template in the Apache Website directives section? That's what this looks like. It's not impossible that there's a new bug, but I don't think we've gotten any other reports of it (then again, I'm still in QC for the Virtualmin Pro release of 3.43, so only GPL users are hitting it, and they complain less).
