I'm trying to change the default path for this, for all virtual domain's created. Where do I make the edit to have it point to a location of my choosing? Thank you!
These days, I recommend Maildir for mail spools, rather than an mbox spool in /var/mail or /var/spool/mail.
The configuration happens in a few places, though its hard to be specific without know which delivery agent and POP/IMAP server you're using.
Here's the basic idea:
First, configure your delivery agent (possibly procmail in /etc/procmailrc, or it could be Postfix in /etc/postfix/main.cf, as it can deliver directly).
Second, configure your POP/IMAP server (possibly Dovecot in /etc/dovecot.conf) to pickup from Maildir spools.
Finally, tell Virtualmin and Usermin (if you're using it for webmail) that mail spools are Maildir in the users home directory.
Of course, if you're using Virtualmin Professional, all of this should already be configured for you (though Usermin seems to still have some issues with its default settings).
