Customer exceeds Limit on number of databases

On the Account plan the Limit on number of databases is configured to limited number.

But the customer is always able to create databases even when he exceeds the configured number (see attached screenshot)

That seems like a bug! Was this customer created after the account plan had been set to only 2 databases, or did the plan get changed later?

Yes the customer was created after the account plan has been set to only 2 databases and I didn't change the account plan configuration. The test was done with many customers but I had always the same result.

If you go to the Edit Databases page as this user, do you see a link to add a new DB? Or does a message like "No more databases can be added, as you have reached your maximum of 2" appear?

Hello,

I would like to add a new important detail, this problem is linked to the plugin Installatron.

The user is not able to create new databases, but with Installatron he could create many (applications) databases.

Hmm, I'm not familiar with Installatron.

Can you describe what that is and where you got it?

However, if it's adding databases in a non-standard way, that's possible that's the source of the problem.

When I go to Edit Database, I get the message "No more databases can be added, as you have reached your maximum of 2" appear?

But Installatron is always able to create new applications (new databases).

You may be seeing an issue with the way Installtron adds it's databases.

Can you describe what it is and where you got it from though? We're not familiar with that tool.

So if Installatron is calling the Virtualmin API, this happens with root privileges and will be able to exceed any domain-level limits on databases.

In that case, what you may need to do is contact the Installatron developers, and explain the issue to them. They may need to tweak how their database installer tools work.
