I was with shaw communications and last Friday switched to Telus. I changed my IP addresses, yet for some reason, one still lingers and I do not see where to change it. When I try to create a sub server in virtualmin, it still reports my old IP as being the one to use. HOW do I change it so my new IP address is listed instead?

Howdy -- what output do you receive if you run this command:
/sbin/ifconfig
That will show your current network interfaces.

We're just trying to understand what all has been changed so far... can you describe the process you used to change the IP address?

Through Virtualmin. I have managed to force an update and everything is now working. The old IP is still listed, it is however no longer an issue. Thanks for your time.

I'm glad to hear it's working!
I'm not sure what steps you've performed in Virtualmin thus far, but it's possible getting rid of that IP is as simple as removing the reference to it in Addresses and Networking -> Shared IP Addresses.

That was not the issue. That was the first step I tried. Anyway, it appears to be working. Now onto secure email.
