Error setting up usermin mail rule

Hi

I am setting up a rule to file spam into the spam folder from usermin:

email filters - add a new email filter

select "Email classified as spam"

action: save to folder Spam

When I save then re-open the rule and use either of these actions:

show matching email in folder Inbox or Apply to email in folder Inbox

Both fail with this message:

Failed to search IMAP mailbox : Error in IMAP command UID SEARCH: Unknown argument X-SPAM-STATUS

Very odd. Seems like a pretty routine requirement... I must be doing somethig wrong, but no isea what!

Many thanks

richard

Thanks for pointing this out - it will be fixed in the next Usermin release.

Hi Jamie

Thanks for that.

I have another issue which may be related:

Set up a rule to file Twitter emails into a different folder:

Based on header (From) contains info@twitter.com

This doesn't work - doesn't find any matches.

Example header of an email which fails to match the rule:

Date: Mon, 21 Sep 2015 20:58:33 +0000 From: Twitter info@twitter.com To: John Saunders john.saunders@carepathplus.co.uk Subject: Follow Gary Jenkins, Shopping Centre and Fisher FC on Twitter!

I have also tried contains Twitter which also doesn't work.

However "Starts With" Twitter does work

Thanks

richard

Maybe try twitter in lower case?

I have checked for case dependency but hasn't helped.

My guess is that the instring search used by the "contains" option is defective in some way...

r.

Are you sure that the rule isn't after one that delivers messages to the user's inbox, on the Email Filters page?
