If I change ssh password of the xen instance through cloudmin panel f.e. to 'testserver12345678' I can log in via ssh with 'testserver12' without entering the entire password.
The password seems to be trimmed when set through cloudmin gui. If change the password again with passwd, then only valid password "testserver12345678" works.

Is this the root SSH password for the system that you are setting, or the graphical console password?

Ok, I see the cause of this - it will be fixed in the next Cloudmin release.
