Today six clamav packages appeared in the Package Updates section of the System Information screen which I installed by clicking the Install All Updates Now button. Some time later I went back to the System Information screen only to find the clamav packages still listed there. I the clicked the Refresh system information link on the top of the screen but the updates do not go away after the page refreshes.

If you click the button to install again, does it actually re-install those packages or just report that they are already at the latest version?

It attampts to download them but then It reports that they are at the latest version.

Probably the cause is an out of date cache - if you go to Webmin -> System -> Virtualmin Package Updates and click the "Refresh Available Packages" button, does it go away?

HI Jamie I am assuming that you are correct because the already updated packages were gone the next day. I will have to see if the problem returns and let you know.

Yeah, let me know if you see this again - the caches should be cleared when you install package updates, and they are on my test systems.
Noticed this, refreshing available packages sorts this, but just a simple system refresh does not, seen this the last few days or so.

HI HI Jamie
Undortunatley the problem has returned and going to Webmin -> System -> Virtualmin Package Updates and click the "Refresh Available Packages" button, does not work properly for me.
On the System Information screen there are two differnt places that display package updates. The first is in the "System Information" section of the screen and the second is in the "Package Updates" section of the screen. When I click the "Refresh Available Packages" button the "System Information" package updates are cleared but the package updates in the "Package Updates" section of the screen are not..
Please see the atteched screen shot. Well I would attach the screen shot if this system would let me and yes I resized the image it is now 54kb jpg file.

Can you email me the screenshot at jcameron@virtualmin.com , and reference this ticket in the subject line?

Thanks - I see the issue now, which is caused by some caches not being updated depending on how you do the install. This will be fixed in the next release..
