I have an older server, running a "non" IMAP setup, but have slowly been moving domains to a newer one, and emails have been properly putting themselves into the ~Maildir format from mbox all nice and pretty. Today they have failed, and today I also upgraded Webmin and Virtualmin. On Jan 13 it worked just fine.
Webmin version 1.730 Virtualmin version 4.132.gpl GPL
Can someone else test this, see if I am just nuts. Moving from one to the other has been painless until today.

Howdy -- what problem did you see exactly when performing the migrations? If you saw any errors, what error messages did you receive?

Not a single error, it appears to be a normal restore, the mail just doesn't end up in the accounts. Its not in /var/mail/xxx either (where is it on the old server)
/home/xxx/homes/xxx have both mail and Maildir folders, empty, but for the regular folder structure.
I tried downgrading virtualmin back one, and it made no difference, so instead I manually moved them and converted the mbox's seperately. So... its done, but still not right in virtualmin.

Are you doing the backup and restore using the command-line API?
Also, during the backup, do you see the message "Backing up all mail files .." ?

Yes, it showed backing up the mail files, and they were there based on the size of the backup. And it was via the web interface, Backup on server1, using server 2 as destination, then run restore on server 2.

Ok, so it turns out the issue is with the restore process ... there is a bug that is triggered ONLY when restoring from an mbox system to one using Maildir.
I have implemented a fix for this though - let me know if you'd like to get it sooner than the next Webmin release.
