Hi
I need to change the IP Addresses on several Virtual Servers that have private IP Addresses, what is the best way to do this to ensure minimal downtime.
Operating system Debian Linux 5.0
Webmin version 1.517
Virtualmin version 3.79 Pro
Thanks Greg

Howdy -- are your new IP address up and running on your server (ie, do you have the network interfaces online yet)?
If so, you can switch the IP address a Virtual Server uses by going into Addresses and Networking -> Change IP address, and you can change the IP address from there.
While the change on your server should be immediate, DNS changes can take some time to propagate across the Internet (that is, clients may keep the old value cached for a period of time), so you might consider doing it in the evening or on the weekend to minimize the effect to anyone who might have the old value cached.

Thanks
As usual Virtualmin has a simple solution.
Appreciate your support. Greg
