When saving Virtualmin config having checked "Allow multiple sites on one SSL certificate" I get the above error - "feature not supported by your web server".
Webmin version is 1.690 Virtualmin version is 4.08.gpl GPL OS is 14.04 LTS (GNU/Linux 3.13.0-24-generic x86_64)
I installed webmin via apt-get then installed Virtualmin as an upload having sourced the package for my distro.
Going further upstream, I selected the LAMP stack option on Digital Ocean as a starting point for my droplet.
Eric suggested it could be a possible bug (https://www.virtualmin.com/node/33407)

Could you post the full error message here, and let us know exactly when it appears? Because I don't see the message "feature not supported by your web server" anywhere in Virtualmin.

OK. Holding fire on this. I'm suspecting because my installation journey was slightly non-standard, I'll be seeing stuff that most people wouldn't see. I'm going to hose the VPS, spin up a plain, empty vanilla Ubuntu VM and install via the Virtualmin script from scratch. I had an existing LAMP stack, added webmin, then uploaded VIrtualmin. Will keep you posted. Mark

Fresh install, ran the install script. Error does not crop up if using virtualmin install script. Probably to do with letting Virtualmin set up Apache with the mods it needs.

Great - we generally recommend installing on a fresh system without any existing packages or configuration, so that Virtualmin can bring in only the packages it needs.
