Hi,
Is there any way now or in the future for me to use LVM for my virtual servers in Virtualmin (not Cloudmin). I have differnt LVM groups on my new server some are on SSD and some are on SATA disks, what I want is a way for me to choose wich LVM Pool to use for each Virtual Server. The LV will be mountet in the home folder either directly or via symlinks, the same goes for the database files.
Scenerio: Customer wants a website with 10G storage. The system creates a 10G LV on the SATA disks and mounts it for this user.
Does this make sence to do this?

Technically that could be done ... but it would be a lot of work, as Virtualmin would have to move LVs around and resize them to accomodate quota increases. I can't really see any way this would be better than regular quotas though, and in some ways it would be worse - for example, you'd need to un-mount the LV in order to resize it.
