Hello again,
the value for "Maximum allowed virtual servers" is not adopted from the selected account plan on the page "Create Virtual Server". Instead "Unlimited" is selected always.
Best regards,

Howdy -- I don't seem to be able to reproduce that issue, it correctly takes the Virtual Server limit from the plan.
Can you go into System Configuration -> Account Plans -> PLAN NAME, and verify that the Virtual Server limit option is still set to your desired value?
Also, can you go into Edit Virtual Server, and verify that it is using that particular plan?
Lastly -- note that if you change the value of an option in an Account Plan, and just hit 'Save' -- that new value won't be applied to all your existing Virtual Servers. For that, you would have to choose "Save and Apply".

Hi,
it seems that I've been not accurate. Actually, it is not the "Maximum allowed virtual servers" limit which is not taken correctly, but the "Maximum allowed alias servers" and the "Maximum allowed non-alias servers" limits which are set to unlimited rather than taken the limits from the plan. I have just tested it again.
Operating system Debian Linux 6.0
Webmin version 1.660 Virtualmin version 4.04.gpl GPL

"Maximum allowed virtual servers" determines the limit on alias and non-alias domains summed up.
"Maximum allowed alias servers" limits only alias domains , and "Maximum allowed non-alias servers" is for non-alias domains. At least, that's how it is supposed to work :-)

Exactly, and "Maximum allowed alias servers" as well as "Maximum allowed non-alias servers" is not taken from the plan, but only set "unlimited".

So in the current UI, only the limit on ALL domains is changeable in the UI. But when you create the domain, the limits on alias and non-alias domains should get set based on the plan.

In the current UI, I can change any of these limits for the plans as well as for the individual virtual servers manually. However, only the limit for ALL virtual servers is taken automatically from the plan at server creation.

Yes, they should be, but they aren't.

Ok, I see the bug that causes this now - it will be fixed in the next Virtualmin release.
