Restoring a dual-stack IPv6/IPv4 enabled virtual server, and selecting "none" for the option "IPv6 address for restored servers"; results in the zone file being created with AAAA records and no corresponding IPv6 addresses. This results in BIND not being able to reload due to syntax errors in the zone file.
A solution might be to notify the user that the corresponding AAAA records for the virtual server you wish to restore will be deleted.

Do you mean that a record is created in the zone file like :
www IN AAAA
I'd be interested to see the resulting zone file in this case.

Yes, that's exactly what it looks like. The rest of the records in the zone file are correct. I've since deleted the zone file and don't have an example.
