An Virtualmin server has the Mailman mailing lists feature enabled and is using a bunch of mailing lists. In Virtualmin 4.00 GPL I noticed the server owner does not has access to the Services > Mailing Lists menu item (https://server:10000/virtualmin-mailman/index.cgi). When checking the permissions for that Webmin user at Webmin > Webmin Users it is missing the activated checkbox at the Virtualmin Mailman Mailing Lists item. I can activate it there and the user gets access to the Mailman lists. As soon as I save the Virtual server configuration again the permission is gone again.
Is this a bug or is there an additional setting I need to switch in Virtualmin?

I use VM pro, and have the same issue, customers can't see the mailman interface any longer.
Permissions for that admin user (after I blow through the warning screen) also don't reflect that they have permission to use mailman any longer.
Any fast solutions?

Try going to System Settings - Server Templates - Default settings - Administrators Webmin Modules, and make sure that access to the mailman module is enabled.

The 4 at the bottom were new since when? Anyway, they defaulted to off, so turned them on.
All better now.

They were added a few releases ago.
