Glacier Storage is nearly a tenth the price of S3 http://aws.amazon.com/s3/pricing/ . Would be great for backups.

Amazon Glacier support is being considered, although it's not a viable primary backup due to the time required to perform a restore.
However, we're looking into a way to use it as a secondary off-site backup.

Yes, glacier support is being worked on. I will update this ticket with progress information.

Thank you for considering. They say 3-5 hours for retrieval of archives at http://aws.amazon.com/glacier/ . I might be reading it wrong though. I would use a primary backup as I wouldn't have a issue waiting 5 hours or even a day if there was a hard drive failure. It would take me more than a day to get another server going :)
Maybe a option to specify the maximum of backups to store. It would be great to limit to 3 as I would go monthly backups so the older ones get deleted. They charge if delete within 90 days. I know I am pushing my luck :)
Ongoing costs would be nearly nothing. It really not a big issue for me but I guess there will be some people with huge backups.

FYI, support for moving files in buckets to glacier will be included in the next VIrtualmin release (4.01).

Great news Jamie. I think it is a good selling point over other panels.
