Hi
When we try and create an alias for a domain xxxx.co under the domain xxxx.com.au we get the message
Failed to create virtual server : The username prefix xxxx is already in use by xxxx.com.au
We don't have mail set up for the top level server so cannot understand why it is wanting to use a prefix.
Appreciate your assistance.

When creating, did you select "Alias of xxxx.com.au" , or "Alias of xxxx.com.au, with email" ?

The primary server is xxxx.com.au, we have added xxxx.co.uk as an alias but trying to add xxxx.co as another alias

Ok, I see the bug here - it looks like it is possible to create domains in such an order that an automatically chosen username prefix/suffix cannot be selected by Virtualmin.
I will fix this in the next release. Until then, the work-around is to create the alias from the command line, with a command like :
virtualmin create-domain --domain xxxx.co --alias xxxx.com.au --dir --web --dns --mail --prefix xxxx2
