Here is what I am seeing in the email for the VM nightly backup :
System Result Size -------------------- --------------------------------------------- ---------- ns1.xtsuniverse.net Failed to upload test file to destination sys - ns2.xtsuniverse.net Failed to upload test file to destination sys - vps236.xtsuniverse.n Failed to upload test file to destination sys - Finding systems to backup .. .. found 3 systems Working out backup destinations .. .. found 3 usable destinations
This just started happening after upgrading to Cloudmin 7.

Here are the simple ssh backup settings.
I have used Filezilla with the same user, pass and folder destination to manually backup to without issue.
Could there be an issue with /%Y-%m-%d being in the directory path?

Hmm, looks like this might have already been fixed : https://www.virtualmin.com/node/26798
Jamie, can I get a pre-release patch for this? I perform nightly backups that create date stamped directories : /%Y-%m-%d and I can't wait till the next release.
Thx,
~Jeremy

The quick work-around is to pre-create your destination directories.
We will be releasing a 7.01 version soon that will include a fix for this. Let me know if you'd prefer a patch though.
