MySQL remote hosts

Hi,

I have a reporting application on another physical server that needs to access a specific db on this virtualmin machine. I found in the forum instructions as follows: Edit Databases, click "Remote Hosts", and add in your machine's IP address.

However, I do not see where i can enter the IP of any remote hosts - that option doesn't even exist when i click edit database.. Has this been moved? I cannot seem to locate this anywhere..

Thanks a lot!

Are you logged in as root, or as a domain owner? Depending on how permissions are setup, that option may only be visible to root.

Also, if this database is in a sub-domain, make sure you use the Edit Databases page on the parent domain. Because remote IPs are granted on a per-owner basis, they apply to all databases in the parent domain and sub-domains.

ahhh.... it was a subdomain - found it... thanks a lot..
