First of all, we wish You a Happy New Year. :o)
I have asked if You can improve the renewal process in 2009 (A long time ago :-P ) http://virtualmin.com/node/15264
The answer was :
That is on Joe's todo list, he's been working on some modifications to the module that handles sales.
My question is: Have worked on the renewal process? One more improvement could be to be notified when a licence is expired or will be expired in a couple of weeks.

Hi
We have renewed, on February the 24th, the licences hereunder but they appears always expired.

This is the reason why we will appreciate a modification of the renewal process where we will be able to select which is renewed.
Could You please upgrade Your process because we have other licences to renew and mark the ones before as renewed.

Sorry, we know the renewal process kind of sucks now. It has not yet been corrected, but we've been discussing ways to handle it, and maybe even some ways to make it a little better before we can make it "good" :-)
In the meantime -- I did renew all the licenses you had there.
I extended them all to May of 2013.
