Virtualmin GPL, how-to allow access to "Services --> Configure Website"

Hi,

We use Virtualmin GPL for customer who don't need the Reseller layer in Virtualmin. In that case, we make a Webmin user and select the needed options. This works perfectly, but one of our customers now wants access to the Configure Website part within the different Virtual Servers. This because he wants to make changes in the SSL Options.

Which option I need to select to give a customer these options?

Thanks!

Howdy -- using Virtualmin GPL, a Virtual Server owner should be able to access Services -> Configure Website by default.

Take a peek in System Settings -> Server Templates -> Default -> Administrators Webmin Modules.

In there, is "Apache Webserver (for virtual host)" set to "Yes"?

Yep, it's enabled. When I look in one of the Virtual servers, at the "Administration Options --> Edit Owner Limits" I don't see any option regaring providing access (or not) to the Configure Website option? I've tried "Can edit website options" but that wasn't the solution.

Is there anything special about the way this admin user was created?

Is it just a typical admin user that you get after creating a new Virtual Server?

No, it's a Webmin user which we create so that customer without the need for the extra reseller layer and thus can use the GPL version, can create Virtual Servers etc.

Okay, if you created a Webmin user -- then you would need to manually grant that user rights to the Apache module.

You can do that in Webmin -> Webmin Users -> USERNAME -> Available Webmin modules, and enable the "Apache Webserver" permission.

Alright, I had found that option already, but we want to grand access to the "Configure Website" option in the Virtual Server.

After enabling that option, your user should be able to see the "Configure Website" option. If that's not the case, let us know.

The user isn't seeing the option.

Well, let's start here -- when that option is enabled, can that user access the Apache module by going into Webmin -> Servers -> Apache Webserver?
