I'm trying to setup a website ftp user (Add a website FTP access user
) but do not see that option when logged in as the domain admin. I do see it when logged in through Cloundmin -> Open Webmin.
What am I missing?

Howdy -- a Website FTP Access User doesn't actually have a quota of their own, that particular user shares a quota with the Virtual Server owner.
Their home directory would be either in the public_html folder, or one of it's sub-directories.

That's right, when logged in as the domain admin I don't have the ability to select a directory under the public_html folder. When accessing Virtualmin through Cloudmin (as system administrator) I do.
I want to create a website-only ftp user and jail them to public_html/blah/xyz but I can't because the interface isn't displaying the section
Quota and home directory settings
..We've done this hundreds of times on other VM systems - am I missing a configuration option?
I'm not concerned with quotas.
Thanks!

Login as
root
, and go to System Settings -> Virtualmin Configuration -> Server administrator permissions , and make sure "Can select home directories for users?" is set to "Yes".Submitted by isdahlc on Thu, 02/16/2012 - 16:11 Pro Licensee Comment #4
