License transfer

Hello,

I need to rebuild my web server as I am installing it on a new operating system. Is it alright if I run it on two servers using the same serial number for a while?

Yup, it's no problem to put your Virtualmin license on a new server for the purposes of a migration.

Thanks for the reply. I installed it on my new server, did some testing with one external ip address, then disabled my original server and moved the new server over to the original ip address and now I get an error message saying it is installed on 3 systems. Is there a timeout that will happen and resolve this error?

Yup, that's no problem, that message will time out after a few days.

Also, only the Master Admin (ie, root user) can see it, so it's not being displayed to your users using the system.
