Unable to upgrade to Virtualmin Pro on Ubuntu 10.04

I'm unable to install Virtualmin Pro on a fresh Ubuntu 10.04 install.

I started by running the install script for Virtualmin Pro, but I received an error about the repository returning a 404 error.

I then successfully installed Virtualmin GPL, but I'm unable to upgrade it to Virtualmin Pro because of the same 404 error.

The output from the failed upgrade attempt is available here: http://pastebin.com/Bwph5PfA. The following lines contain errors: 13, 15, 29, 31

Thanks for your help!

Hmm, that's an unusual issue! I'm able to access the URL's that didn't work for you.

It makes me wonder if there's something awry with your serial number and license key.

What is the license information you're using there?

Also, what happens if you try browsing to this URL:

http://software.virtualmin.com/ubuntu/dists/virtualmin-universal/main/bi...

And then enter your serial number as the username, and the license key as the password. When you do that, are you able to download that file?

Thanks for the reply.

I was able to use wget to download the package file (wget http://serial:license@software.virtualmin.com/.....) and it came down just fine.

After some more exploring, I found that we are using aptcacher to cache packages for our site, and it's causing the error. When I removed aptcacher from the apt config on the new machine, it upgraded just fine.

All is well!

Thanks again! Travis

Great, I'm glad you got that working, thanks for letting us know how you fixed that!
