VirtualMin GPL complains about placeholders in postfix ldap search_base

I'm using a virtual hosting with an LDAP attached. However, Virtualmin complains about placeholders being used in the search_base:

A problem was found with your Postfix virtual maps : The map source ldap:/etc/postfix/ldap-forwards.cf cannot be used : LDAP base DN vd=%d,ou=Hosting,dc=example,dc=com is not valid : No such object

The search_base works perfectly with postfix, so I see no reason why VirtualMin should complain about this.

Does the %d get replaced with the domain name when Postfix looks for records in LDAP?
