The default root of subdomains is : /home/domains/sub.domain.com/public_html
It'll be nice for us to be able to edit it.
Usage : forum.domain.com , domain.com/forum should have the same content. simply set the document root to /home/domain.com/public_html/forum instead of playing with symbolic links, or manually edit the vhost file.

That's not a directory format we support directly .. but you could always add a redirect from domain.com/foo to http://foo.domain.com at Server Configuration -> Website Redirects.
