unable to connect after kvm install

So what error do you get in your browser when you try to connect to webmin on port 10000?

timeout...it never finds anything. i've tried restarting and whatnot. i found this in the logs:

miniserv.pl started [20/Aug/2011:16:18:51 -0400] Perl module Authen::PAM needed for PAM is not installed : Can't locate Authen/PAM.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/libexec/webmin /usr/local/lib64/perl5 /usr/local/share/perl5 /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/lib64/perl5 /usr/share/perl5 .) at (eval 16) line 1. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at (eval 16) line 1.

this is a cento6 system right now

i'm going to install ubuntu 10.04 real fast and see if it gives the same error given the symptoms..brb

Also, check your firewalls to make sure port 10000 isn't blocked.

firewalls are disabled..:) I don't even allow them to be "installed"..

well get this. did another install of ubuntu after several attempts..and it is working now..I don't know why at least in ubuntu.
