unable to disable all features of an account plan

I can't save an account plan where all features are unchecked: "Failed to save plan : No default available features selected".

Jamie, should it be possible to create an account plan with no default features enabled? Or is that intentionally prevented?

That is intentionally prevented, as you can't have a virtual server with no features..

tatze - why are you trying to create such a plan?

I want to enable the features manually for each virtual server from scratch ... some servers I'd like to create are for one purpose only and defining a plan for every of them seems to be a bit coated.

My thoughts of giving the admin access to some options listed under "edit virtual server" are deprecated now, even if there might be setups where this comes in handy.

Ok, that makes sense .. I will allow no features to be selected in the next Virtualmin release.

@tatze: If I understand you correctly, and the request is solely because you wish the list of enabled features to be initially empty for a new server you create: You might also use the switch "Set default features from plan when creating server?" in Virtualmin Configuration, section "User interface settings".

If you set this to "No", the default features you select in the "Features and Plugins" page will be pre-enabled when you create a new server, as opposed to those that the plan would allow for the server owner to choose from.

Thanks for that workaround, but it would affect all new virtual servers I'll create ... but I still want to setup "normal" servers with the presets given in "Features and Plugins", so an empty feature list in the account plan would be the correct solution. :)
