New install of SL6.1, using the "basic server" options, then wget of the install.sh script, this is my result.
Screen says: The systems currently supported by install.sh are: Fedora Core 10-11 on i386 and x86_64 CentOS and RHEL 3-6 on i386 and x86_64 Debian 4.0, 5.0 and 6.0 on i386 and amd64 Ubuntu 8.04 LTS and 10.04 LTS on i386 and amd64 FreeBSD 7.0 and 7.1 on i386 and amd64
If your OS is not listed above, this script will fail. More details about the systems supported by the script can be found here:
Not seeing SL 6 or 6.1
- "INFO - Installing dependencies using command: /usr/bin/yum -y -d 2 install bind bind-utils caching-nameserver httpd postfix bind spamassassin procmail ... ...in progress, please wait..."
Next line: /Warning: RPMDB altered outside of yum.
Thats it for the install.sh stuff.

Howdy -- just to clarify, are you saying that the install script failed to install? Once it showed the RPMDB warning, it dropped back to the command line?
If so, can you attach your /root/virtualmin-install.log file?
Thanks!

In the meantime, I'll assign this to Jamie... Jamie, can you add Scientific Linux 6 to the Install Script list of supported OS's? Thanks!

No! It continues after that, and even finished. Just didn't figure that the error should be there.
