Hi,
When trying to create virtual servers with long domain names, the creation script fails at the point where MySQL users are being checked.
For example, I set up a-very-long-domain.co.uk as a top level virtual server. I then tried to set up a-very-long-domain-2.co.uk as another top level virtual server and got this message:
Failed to create virtual server : A MySQL user named a-very-long-doma already exists
Obviously the MySQL user name is of a fixed length. This can cause problems for people who run a number of web sites with similarly titled domains.
Please could you advise on whether this will be fixed?
Thanks, Steve

The solution here is to enter a different username for the domain on the creation form, in the "Administration username" field. This will be used instead of the default name, which is typically the first part of the domain name.
Unfortunately MySQL has a limit of only 16 characters on database logins :-(

Hi,
Thanks for the prompt feedback - that solved the issue.
Is it possible a suggestion like this could be put into the error message that is displayed in a future update?
Thanks again, Steve
